4th Grade had a great Field Trip to Amarillo today for a visit to the Discovery Center followed up with a yummy treat!

The Junior class Ring Ceremony will be Monday, March 17 @ 2:00pm in the library. All visitors MUST sign in.

2nd grade was getting their Jeopardy on in class Friday! Shout out to Mrs.Hollis for making a fun review game for her class!

Next week is Read Across America Week! Pre-k thru 3rd grade will be celebrating by reading Dr. Seuss Books and doing related activities! All students are invited to join in dress up days!

Congratulations to Taylee Ehlert and Javier Valles! They were awarded the Clarendon Chamber of Commerce Young Man and Young Woman of the Year! Thank you to the Chamber for recognizing these Hedley Owls!

Updated Calendar for the first week of March

The Hedley ISD Community Blood Drive will be held on March 5th from 12 to 4 p.m. Please schedule your appointment and help us build up the supply. The mobile unit will be parked on the south side of the school by the gym.

Due to extreme cold, Hedley ISD will have a two hour delay.  Classes will begin at 10am on Wednesday, February 19th.

Just a reminder: Today, 02/14, is a full day for Hedley ISD. We will dismiss at the regular 3:45pm time. Thank you!

Hedley Owls: A Season of Pride and Perseverance The Hedley HS Boys wrapped up their season tonight—not with a win, but with pride shining brighter than ever. Despite facing low numbers (girls and boys) throughout the season and dealing with game cancellations due to illness, the Hedley Owls never gave up. Their determination and resilience were unmatched. We are incredibly proud of the perseverance shown by both our boys and girls this year. A heartfelt thank you to Coach Grant and Coach Hicks for their unwavering dedication and for never backing down from the good fight. We will build back stronger. Go Owls! 🦉💚

Reminder: Hedley yearbook staff Valentine gram orders are due tomorrow.

Important Health Reminder for Parents/Guardians We kindly ask all parents and guardians to closely monitor your child’s health. If your child has had a fever, please ensure they are fever-free for at least 24 hours without the use of medication before returning to school. Additionally, if your child has been vomiting, we ask that you keep them home until they are symptom-free. We have experienced an increase in illnesses over the past few weeks. While our staff is diligently sanitizing classrooms and common areas daily, we need your support to help prevent the spread of illnesses. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in keeping our students and staff healthy.

If any students are interested in participating in baseball there will be a sign up at Bronco gymnasium in Clarendon Texas. Sign up are scheduled for Wednesday February 12th and 13th 2025 between 4pm and 6pm. Students must be 9-16 years old and cost is $50.00 which is due at sign up.
