Teacher Appreciation Week
May 5-9
Hedley ISD was spotlighted in TEA's Student Supports Division Newsletter. This has been a wonderful grant opportunity for our district and it is allowing us to do great things for our students.
Today's the day! Pre-K and Kindergarten Round up is here! Come see us tonight to meet the teachers, see the classroom and play! New students can pre-register. Please bring your child's shot record, birth certificate, social security card and proof of residence. Call 806-856-5323 with any questions.
Weekly Calendar
The 7th graders will be having an Art Show and Reception on Friday, May 9th in room 205 @ 3:00. These students have worked hard all year on various art pieces, and they are excited to share with them with the community! We hope to see you there!
Pre-k/Kindergarten Round Up is this Thursday, May 1st @ 5:30. Come meet the teachers, get supply lists and eat a hotdog with us! We look forward to seeing you Thursday! Please call 806-856-5323 to put your name on the list!
T-Ball and Coach Pitch sign ups are April 29th and 30th from 4:00p.m. until 6:00p.m. at the little league concession stand. T-Ball (5 & 6) must be 5 years old before May 1st. Coach Pitch (7 & 8).
This is for all of Donley County including Hedley residents.
Parents don't forget to complete the Parent and Family Engagement Survey. A note was sent home with students last week. You can access the survey on the district website: www.hedleyisd.net

Mrs. L'Heureux's Junior High Career Classes will be having their Career Portfolio Presentations in the Library on Friday, May 2nd @ 3:00. We invite parents and community members to join us. Please check in at the front door first! We look forward to seeing you there to hear what these kids have to share!
Letter jacket fittings will be next Tuesday April 29 in the morning. This will be for students that do not have a jacket that have participated in athletics and other UIL academics that have met the specific requirements set forth to receive their jackets. Mrs. B's 4th grade class has an OUT OF THIS WORLD Solar System display! If you are out and about, come see the great work these kids did!
Hedley ISD Activity Banquet has been set for May 6th at 6:00p.m. in the cafeteria. If your child participated in HS athletics, FFA, and HS UIL, they will be recognized at this event. Students who participated will bring home information about how to purchase tickets. Remember that tickets are limited to 2 per family.
