Just a reminder; New Student Registration will be on Monday, August 2 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please bring your State Birth Certificate, Social Security Card and shot record with you. Returning Student Registration will be on Monday & Tuesday, August 2nd & 3rd from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. We will have laptops available at the school. Please remember you have to enroll your child/children every year and this needs to be done before the first day of school, you will also need to come up to the school to fill out some paperwork that is required every year so please try to come one of those days and if you need to make different arrangements, please call 806-856-5323. Parents and Families: The application for P-EBT benefits is now open until Aug. 13. P-EBT provides food benefits to families with eligible children who temporarily lost access to free or reduced-price meals during the 2020–21 school year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Here is a quick look at the last week of school. May 17th--early out. May 18th--9 a.m. NHS induction; 9:30 a.m. KG & 8th grade graduation and school wide awards ceremony, also an early out day. May 19th--KG-5th playday and early out. May 20--6-12 playday; early and last day of school. May 22--10 a.m. HS Graduation. HOPE EVERYONE ENJOYS THEIR SUMMER!!!

Physical Forms are being sent home with current 5th graders, 8th graders, and Sophomores today. They will be leaving after school on Thursday, the 20th. The school will pay for the physicals on THIS DAY ONLY, and they are mandatory to play sports next year. If your student does not go with the group on this day, parents will be responsible for the cost of the physical.

Attention High School students and parents. All 9-12 grade students will be in virtual classrooms on Tuesday 5/11 and Wednesday 5/12. These are STAAR testing days for our elementary and JH students and we would not be able to respect social distancing guidelines due to the amount of teachers that will be needed for testing. Students must complete their work in order to get credit for those days. Thank you.

Wednesday, April 21st is picture day. All students will be photographed in individual pictures, and group pictures. Individual pictures will be sent a proof, and group pictures must be purchased ahead of time. Sports pictures and graduation pictures must also be purchased ahead of time. There are order forms on the school website.

The Hedley One Act Play will be having a Dessert Theatre tomorrow night. Dessert will at 6:00 and the play will begin at 7:00. All you can eat desserts for $5.00, and $3.00 for ages 5 and younger. Please come support the Hedley OAP team. Donations are gladly accepted. Thank you

Hedley High School Activity banquet will be held on Thursday, April 29th at 6:30 p.m. in the school cafeteria. Tickets are $10 and are required to enter the banquet. The students that participated in any of the events do not have to pay. We need a head count and tickets purchased NO LATER than April 22nd. The money needs to be turned into Tanya Burton in the main office. The meal will be ½ pound burgers, fries, and cobbler catered by Stephen Maddox at Fat and Happy BBQ. Only parents and high school students that participated in an extracurricular activity are able to attend this event due to limited seating. Thank you, Hedley ISD
