Witch Trials Reenactment – March 2025
Yesterday, our students didn’t just learn history… they lived it.
Through a live reenactment, students experienced the fear, pressure, and injustice of historical witch trials. One student was accused based on suspicion and false testimony. With little evidence, the court declared him guilty… and sentenced him to be burned at the stake.
At the same time, students are reading The Scarlet Letter, connecting literature to real-world history and exploring powerful themes:
Public judgment vs. truth
The danger of false accusations
The consequences of fear and groupthink
But what makes this
Our students don’t just memorize—they think.
They don’t just read—they connect.
They don’t just sit—they engage.
These are the kinds of experiences that build confidence, leadership, and real-world thinking skills.
