A note from Superintendent of Schools,
Eric Hough

This is my first year as Superintendent of Schools at Hedley. I have served as a technology teacher, assistant principal and principal for a combined fourteen years in Texas Public Schools.
My entire family is excited to become a part of the Hedley community. My wife, Shelly, and I have been married for fifteen years, and we have three children.
I am looking forward to working very closely with the staff and faculty to assist them in providing our students with the best education possible. Our plan is to ensure that our students are prepared to meet the challenges and demands of the rigorous state exam, TAKS.
All children are important at Hedley ISD. Each day should bring excitement and fulfillment where education is enjoyed, not just experienced. As educators, we wish to be partners with our students’ parents. We believe that parental involvement greatly contributes to improved student achievement, attendance, motivation, self-concept and behavior. We at Hedley ISD count it as a privilege to work with our boys and girls in our continued quest for excellence. We appreciate our parent and community support and rely on their continued dedication to our school.
